An approach for enhancing process and process interaction capability

In market globalization environment, the enterprises need respond to customer requirement and increasing customer satisfaction. The enterprises need to be fine appropriate approach that can help to achieve their goal. This encouraged many enterprises to adopt either Six Sigma for improving process throughout process interaction and problem solving or Lean for wastes reduction in processes. However, Six Sigma and Lean have limitations. As a result, the enterprises tend to adopt both of principles. This paper represents similarities and different between TQM, ISO 9000: 2000, Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen include limitation of concepts. Furthermore, the integration between the techniques and tools of TQM, Six Sigma and Lean can help to a way for integrating between Six Sigma and Kaizen. The comprehensive of techniques and tools can help to reduce the time of decision making for select appropriate tools and techniques in improvement projects. The paper proposes an approach that combines Six Sigma to Kaizen Blitz (DMAIC KB). This approach bases on combination advantage of Six Sigma and Kaizen concept under PDCA cycle. This approach emphasizes on solve in small project, response customer requirement and increase customer satisfaction in short period time in order to detect, analyze and improve the problems and dysfunctions in process through process interaction, include maintain result efforts.
